A skilled Editor, Online Editor and Colourist based in Manchester, UK.

I have a passion for visual storytelling and creating engaging Film & TV content, and draw on my decade of experience within the UK Broadcast industry to produce high quality content in a professional, friendly manner.

I am quick to grab the essence of a brief and as a keen collaborator I often have useful creative insight when it comes to delivering the best version of the project available. I regard myself as an approachable, personable expert in my field with the ability to solve problems and prioritise tasks in a professional manner, and endeavour to produce an end product that meets the specific needs of each client. As Post Production is a fast moving and ever evolving part of the industry, I ensure I remain well informed on the latest trends and technologies whilst continuously developing my narrative story telling techniques.

Recently I have worked on the hard hitting documentary series ‘Crimes that Shook Australia,’ documenting the most shocking crimes that have taken place in the country; a one off documentary for the Channel 4 season Extraordinary Teens: ‘Young, Gifted & Broke,’ documenting a moving account of child prodigy Shane Thomas’ journey from childhood to adolescence, whilst maintaining his extraordinary enthusiasm for music as he eventually secured his first record deal. Finally, I worked on the BAFTA winning children’s comedy Class Dismissed, a documentary sketch show parodying the popular ‘Educating…’ series, being responsible for the offline and online edit for the show.

Outside of the edit suite, I enjoy climbing, photography and sampling the finest coffee that Manchester has to offer. To check my availability and/or coffee preferences, please email adam.stokes@me.com or use the contact form on the website.
